Basically went with a Macbook Pro as my personal laptop in order to have the stability and reliability of a unix system without having to climb the Linux ladder. Been trying to decide on a backup solution and more importantly a file archive solution to keep a lot of old files and family data safe (mom isn't too tech savvy).
